Nikola Tesla (Serb Cyrillic: НиколаТесла), born the on July 10th, 1856 in Smiljan, Empire of Austria (today in Croatia), and dead the on January 7th, 1943 in New York, the United States, is an inventor and Serb engineer of Croatie1,2,3, also American citizen, having mainly work in the field of electricity. Regarded as one of the largest scientists in the history of technology, to have deposited some 300 patents covering on the whole 125 inventions4 (which for of them will be much allotted wrongly to Thomas Edison) 5.6 and to have described new methods to carry out “energy conversion”, Tesla is recognized like one of the most creative engineers of the end of 19th and the beginning of the 20th century. As for him, he rather preferred to be defined as a discoverer.
