In the early 18th century, forty-seven masterless samurai, known as "Rōnin," set out on a quest to avenge their fallen lord. Their actions were chronicled in the Chushingura ("Treasury of Loyal Hearts") and later commemorated by one of the last, great masters of the Japanese ukiyo-e style of woodblock prints and paintings, Tsukioka Yoshitoshi, in the mid-late 19th century. I am glad that they came so quickly. The design was /is AMAZING! I love them ... folks were grabbing theirs immediately before the day because they believe they will go quickly. I love both sizes but the square one was unique and I misjudged the size on the round ones but still happy with how they turned out. AMAZING! The design was great. The printing was good.
