Its plot is kind of surprising. Jonathan Harker is legal counsel for his boss and is helping his boss and Dracula come to some kind of agreement about real estate. After venturing outside his room one night, Dracula saves Jonathans life from some female vampires. Just so that he can finish his legal advise to Dracula. After he is able to escape Dracula starts terrorizing Jonathan friends and family. Read the book for the rest of the plot. Vampires have been a main facet of movies. Especially of late. According to the IMDB there have been more than 600 movies that have mentioned Dracula. The vampire that Dracula has inspired is much more scary than the latest incarnations of wimpy vampires in recent movies, which are vampires only in name. Show your support for the one true vampire.
