This image is a composite of the Tarantula Nebula in 30 Doradus coming from the James Webb Space Telescope (Infrared) and the Chandra X-ray Observatory. While JWST is revealing forming protostars, Chandra X-ray (in purple and blue) shows the remnants of supernovas and hot gas. It's possible to see specks of light in the background, gleaming stars with spikes and a cluster of small young blue stars.
