T-shirt with white x

I bought this shirt for my 12-year-old son - he is 5'4 and a lanky 110 pounds. He likes to wear his shirts big, and based on the reviews I ordered him a large (he usually wears a men's medium). The shirt is a little too big for him, but he loves it. The fabric is soft and the shirt seems durable after 3 washes. It did not shrink much in the washer/dryer. I am disappointed that the white printing on this black shirt is already cracked and beginning to fade after only 3 washes (and yes, I washed it inside out in cold water). I put it in the dryer inside-out once to see if I could shrink it a bit (it didn't shrink much at all) - the other two times I washed this shirt I hung it to dry, but the printing still looks old. With that said, my son loves the old, washed-out look, but I was hoping it would stay "new-looking" for more than one wash.

They turned out exactly as we had hoped and we looked good even when we didn't bowl well. The printing was perfect and you can only see 9 pins on the shirt(the 5 pin hidden behind the headpin) which worked for us as we bowled in a 9 pin No-Tap league.
