Swiss Flag (Switzerland) Tile

This design features the flag of Switzerland (officially the Swiss Confederation), which is a landlocked country in the middle of Europe. It is a federal republic, divided into 26 cantons; its capital city is Bern, while its largest city is Zurich. The country borders Germany to the north, Austria and Lichtenstein to the east, Italy to the south and France to the west. While most of the landmass is made up of the Alps, most of Swiss population lives on the plateau, where most major cities and economic centres are located, such as Zürich, Geneva and Basel. Switzerland has four official languages: German, French, Italian and Romansh, a less commonly spoken Romance language that is native to the country. The emblem of the Red Cross is the Swiss flag with switched colours.
