I apologize first of all that the text design is not editable. It simply can't be with this typeface - which is not part of Zazzle's fonts - or with the text effects used. Many of the names I do in my personalized designs today are done because I initially got a request for a design. This is my ninth series of custom type for names and other text. I like the retro aesthetic of Art Deco and modernist typefaces, and this one takes the idiosyncrasies of the artistic movement and its sense of style a step further than others. Made in a slightly muted golden colour, initially made in two flavours, on a background of faded blue and on a deep brownish red, but feel free to remove the background to add your own background colour. This kind of golden colour looks good on any deep slightly muted or dirty colour, like deep olive green, mauve or brown. As the templates I use for this are standardized for names of any size, I apologize if shorter or longer ones might be slightly off balance in some designs. I try to make my templates universal for a series of designs, but it's not always easy, particularly on curved objects like clocks and watches. In some cases, it will look better if you enlarge the name or move it up or down a tad, so please experiment to find the ideal position and size.
