Sweet Young Girl Playing With Her Pet Cat (Munier) Metal Ornament

This design features a painting by the French artist Émile Munier (1840–1895), who was a student of William-Adolphe Bouguereau (1825–1905). It shows a cute young girl holding up an ornament being used as a toy to tease a pet cat. The girl is holding the fluffy kitten in her arms lovingly. She clearly adores the little creature. The girl is wearing a white dress, as she rests under silk sheets, and she has a blue bow in her blonde hair. The girl is smiling happily and the kitten is looking up at the toy in her hand. The original French title of the painting was "Petite fille et chat", which simply means "Little girl and cat", and it was painted in 1882.

It’s a beautiful ornament. The silver is nice quality-it is smaller than I expected so just check the measurements of what you need. Turned out great for my son and his girlfriend to give them for Christmas to honor the first home they bought this year! It looks good, just hard to read the text because of the print and size.
