The Swan River Myrtle is a plant found in Western Australia where the capital city Perth is located on the Swan River, a place where swans are black. The plan itself is a little rangy but the flowers are pretty, so here I have painted them in watercolours and finished it off with ink using a calligraphy pen! Let me take you on a journey to the land at the bottom of the world, my home with it's big blue sky!
