Surreal Florence Welch - Black and White Coffee Mug

A black and white print of my first piece of 2015. The Surreal Florence Welch was influenced by a number of different things, my love of the band in general and specific songs from their albums. The piece also has elements that have been inspired by Frida Kahlo's, What the Water Gave Me, also the title of one of my favorite tracks from the bands 2011 album Ceremonials.

I was originally happy about my purchase and Nana loved the gift. HOWEVER, the description specifically says that these are microwave and dishwasher safe, BUT the first time Nana put this mug in the dishwasher it was destroyed. Not impressed..
