Access to higher education is of paramount importance to the well-being and competitiveness of our country. Community Colleges supply the stepping stones to educational success for nontraditional (older, disadvantaged, single-parent, etc.) and traditional students alike. My Beloved could be working at any University in America, but he has chosen to give his time and talent as the V.P. of Academic and Student Affairs at a small state college because he is committed to all people receiving the best education possible with the fewest impediments.
