Sunshine and Sky Mugs

One of my favourite colour combinations, yellow and blue designs have been interpreted by ceramic artists worldwide. Cantagalli and Quimper produced beautiful examples. The raffaellesco majolica of Deruta, Talavera pottery of Mexico and Kutahya ceramics of Turkey illustrate not only the rich history of these designs but also why they remain popular today. Blue skies and bright sunshine inspired my oh so humble abstract interpretation. Text may certainly be added if you’d like. Zazzle makes it simple. Note: The Sunshine and Sky designs are available on a variety of other items.
