This is an imaginary woodland landscape painting that has a mystical feel to it. The plains in the foreground are painted in a strong green and the woodland trees in the background are painted in earthy colours to give it a gloomy feeling. This original landscape scene is from my imagination but it’s based on the winter plains of Epping forest in Chingford that's a town on the edge of east London England, I spent a lot of time in this beautiful historic forestland, the changing seasons are very inspirational.
