Summer Evening Postcard
Enjoy this stunning reproduction of Hashimoto Kansetsu's 1941 ink painting "Summer Evening." A white fox is sitting under moonflowers on a warm summer evening. The picture is humid, intimating that this scene takes place after an evening shower. The combination of moonflowers and the fox is exquisite. Their whiteness glimmers in the darkness and it reeks of the coolness of summer. The flowers are soft and cottony, and the fox is cool and clear. The Floating World Store on Zazzle painstakingly restores these historical treasures to their true colours and fixes basic aging issues. Paper texture and colour are maintained because it reveals the aged beauty of these master works of art.
