On the front above the photo we've included a HAPPY HOLIDAYS message above the photo and space for your name and the year below it. You can change the wording, colour, font or text size of any of the text on either side. You might change 'HAPPY HOLIDAYS' to 'MERRY CHRISTMAS' or another greeting that suits your style, or you might change the colour of the 'HAPPY HOLIDAYS' text or other text, for example. The default colour of the 'HAPPY HOLIDAYS' text is an elegant gold tone called California Gold and the text below the photo is a very dark grey that's mostly black by default. text on the back is black. Please remember to edit the year as well as replacing the sample name with your own first names or family name. You might decide to edit the front to show just your names without a year, or change the text to something completely different. On both sides of the card we've set the background as transparent to let the colour of the paper simply serve as the base tone. You can change this on one or both sides by picking a colour in the editing tools if you'd like. On the back of this postcard template, above the text you'll notice a sprig of holiday greenery, which you can remove if you prefer. We've put some sample message text below that for you to replace with your own message, but please don't feel restricted by this. If you prefer to delete our sample text and then keep that message space totally blank so that you can write a handwritten note on the back of each postcard instead, you can of course do that. Or you might want to replace our text with your own message and your own closing and then hand sign your names when you receive the cards. We've chosen matte as the default paper type, as it is well suited to writing your own message on and won't smudge and complements this natural, understated design well. But you can of course change this to semi-gloss if you prefer a brighter look. Just please be sure to remember that there is sample message text and a sample return address on the back as well as a photo and text on the front of the postcard for you to replace and edit.
