I purchased this button in support of the Ukrainian people who are suffering enormously due to the abhorrent and senseless aggression of Russia. The colours are the colours of the Ukrainian flag … blue for the sky and yellow for their wheat fields. The sunflowers are the national flower that symbolize the resilience of the people. Of course, the dove represents hope for peace. I put the button on my coat to drawn attention to the plight of the Ukrainian people.
