I bought these for my cousin, a man who always wears suspenders. What made this purchase special was that I could (and did) discuss the different elements with him first, and then go-ahead and get him EXACTLY what HE preferred. The choices included style, metal type, and fabric texture, design, and color. My cousin chose the back-X style, four clips (not three), gold clips (not silver), and the wine-colored, raindrop pattern. Since I needed the gift within the delivery-range (and couldn't afford a delay, however unlikely), I called the manufacturer, before shipment. Zazzle made manufacturer-contact easy. Moreover, the manufacturer was very pleasant and was able to accommodate my need for speed. The suspenders arrived quickly and beautifully packaged. Surprisingly and unlike most other Zazzle items (in which printing anything on anything is part of the customization), there was no way - via printing or etching -- to embed text, initials, or a date. No matter. My recipient was pleased and that's what counts. Therefore, I highly recommend purchasing these suspenders via Zazzle.
