The depth of the colors in production is awesome. However, the lamination was not how I expected it to be. It was very thin and not of heavier construct (that was how I thought it would be-no fault on the seller's part). My only suggestion is when packaging it, to make sure the cardboard is at least an inch longer. When my item arrived, I used scissors to cut along the very edge of one end and when I removed the place mat, I realized I have cut the entire right side edge off. I would still be able to use it except that the corners are rounded and I can't round the edges so that it is not noticeable so I am not able to gift this as intended. I discarded it.

Zazzle always has plenty of designs and colors to choose from, and the printing looks great!

These turned out so much better than I expected and they arrived in about 5 days. The cards are decent quality and I can't wait to use them!

This is a review of Classic Playing Cards (with customer’s design on all card backs) by Danau’s Art & Gifts When it comes to merchandise items with custom design printing from ZAZZLE, it doesn’t get any better than this!!! If you like to shuffle playing cards or do card tricks, these playing cards have a very fine-grain matte finish, on both sides of each card, which is very slippery against the other cards, but has optimal traction for your fingers---you’ll love it!!! These playing cards should be durable and give good service. Each card measures 3 15/32 inches by 2 15/32 inches (88.1 millimeters by 62.7 millimeters). The Automatic Poker web site states that a standard playing card size is 3 ½ inches by 2 ½ inches (89 millimeters by 64 millimeters). I counted 54 cards in each deck. I purchased two decks. The front sides the cards look exactly like they do on the ZAZZLE web site---the classical king (both one-eyed and two-eyed), queen, and jack.

The image resolution (sharpness of detail) is absolutely superb, for both the image and the text blocks! My tiny 5-point Garamond Roman font characters were sharp and clear, and very easy to read. The colors of the image and the text characters are faithful, vibrant, and stunning (hue and saturation). There is no evidence of pixellation (including stair-stepping of diagonal lines) or distortion of image features or text characters. All text blocks are perfectly straight and parallel to the top and bottom edges of the cards. The arrangement of the image and text blocks was also very faithful to my arrangement on the ZAZZLE on-line design software, with no overlap or truncation of either image or text. The ZAZZLE printers at their best!!!
