Printing black on the off-white background looks great. You can see all the lettering and the type is big enough to read from a small distance, which, with a long quote, is great.

I was totally pleased with my lamp shade! It's adorable! However I thought I had the exact same lamp base as in the photo so decided not to order the entire lamp just the shade. To my dismay the shade didn't fit on my base and there's no option to buy the correct base!

I purchased this lamp for my son's Australian animal-themed nursery. It is by far the coolest item that I got for his room! The lamp is compact but gives off good light, and is very well made. Although I bought it for a baby's room, it would be awesome for any age group!
