The travertine stone is porous and earthy in appearance. It's a heavy duty coaster and has a cork backing (like all the other stone coasters). I received my set of 4 coasters within 2 days of placing the order. Probably because I live in Florida and the company is in St. Cloud. But that was a nice surprise.

Printing is darker and brighter than depicted online.

The sandstone coaster is a favorite because it is absorbent. There is no shiny coating on this one, and it soaks up excess condensation. It drys out nicely and looks good as new.

Printing is nice, it came out looking a lot like the online image only more tan in color.

The spotted junonia coaster is a favorite with the family. I chose Limestone for this image, which has a textured appearance, but doesn't seem to be very absorbent. If you don't mind that, the coaster is large, heavy and very nice otherwise.

Customizing sentiment -- written in stone -- is very special. Although this item was called a coaster, I preferred to give it as a paperweight. Either way, it was packaged well, and arrived fast. The customizing process was easy. The recipient loved it!

When customizing the design, I used a Zazzle base, then made changes to the color, typeface, and font-size. All arrived just as I designed it. Thank you, Zazzle.

The marble coasters are really nice. They are thick and sturdy and have felt on the bottom.

As long as you use marble, the printing is crisp and clear.

I have a very geeky friend who isn't into clothes, mugs, or any of the traditional gifts. She is very into Linux, and putting the Casual Tux penguin (Linux mascot, with a hawaiian shirt on it) onto a trivet ended up being perfect.

The printing was great. I didn't know what to expect, but it looks awesome.

The marble is an excellent substrate for printing. If you require detail, stick with marble because the sandstone is blurry.

I am pleased with the feel in the hand of this coaster - heavy and smooth but not polished. The top surface of the stone has faint natural flaws which do not interfere with the printed image, but add to the wholesome character of the finished item. Good quality cork backing.

The print job is exquisitely fine and detailed, and the colour is perfect!

Colors are beautiful and printing is sharp.

These magnets have some heft to them, even though they're only 2-inches in size, which works quite well. The marble is a sturdy material and the actual magnet on the back is generous.

The primed marble was chosen as it appeared to display the brightest image when designing, and I wanted crisp colors. Turned out to be the right choice; there is a nice finish to the surface and the images came out true.

This is a beautiful coaster. I bought several for a friend and they came out really nice.

Because of the nature of the coaster, the colors are faded, but I knew that and it gave it a very natural look.

I really like this coaster. It is sandstone, so very fade, but it shows a picture of exactly what the coaster will look like. I was very pleased.

It turned out as expected. Be sure to look at the image before you order. The color is faded because it is sandstone.

The coaster seems fine, but I had to give up on ordering from Zazzle because the artwork was printed crookedly and spaced unevenly twice.

I tried twice and was unable to get the artwork printed correctly. It was crooked both times and I ran out of time for this product. So I need to go to a different venue.

I bought these for christmas gifts/ stocking stuffers. Affordable and well made. Just make sure you have your photo fill the frame all the way. I forgot to extend one of my photos which left an awkward white stone space on the top and bottom of the magnet. But that was my mistake. Unfortunately, 1 of the 4 magnets arrived chipped which I am unhappy about. Other than that, it's a gift product.
