Steller's Jay On Inner Birch Bark Coffee Mug

A primitive, or folk-art-style, image of a Steller's Jay (Cyanocitta stelleri) on the reddish inner or reverse side of the bark of a paper birch (Betula payrifera). Add your own text on the reverse side. One of my favourite birds, it is found is found in much of western North America; from California, throughout the Pacific Northwest and British Columbia to Alaska. I refer to these birds as screeches, because that is what they do.

I was originally happy about my purchase and Nana loved the gift. HOWEVER, the description specifically says that these are microwave and dishwasher safe, BUT the first time Nana put this mug in the dishwasher it was destroyed. Not impressed..
