Start Seeing CVI itinerant/travel mug

Providers log a *lot* of miles on your travels serving students with cortical visual impairment (CVI), the leading cause of visual impairment in children. Now you can help spread awareness of CVI, even when you are on the road, which is all the time. Fill up on your favourite coffee or tea and bring it along to in-service trainings, assessments, consults, and especially IEP meetings. Parents of children with CVI log a lot of miles too, both on the road, and on the heart. The regular schedule of medical appointments, assessments, therapy appointments, early intervention and school meetings, often begins in your child's infancy, and you won't get through it without coffee (later on, when things settle down - and it will settle down - you may switch to tea). Take your travel mug to appointments with the pediatrician, neurologist, ophthalmologist, occupational therapist, physical therapist, speech therapist, feeding therapist.
