Starry Night Over The Rhone was painted in 1888 by Vincent Van Gogh (oil on canvas). The painting captured the night-setting around the Rhone River. The challenge of painting at night fascinated van Gogh and in painting Starry Night Over the Rhône he chose a vantage point that allowed him to seize the reflections of the gas lighting in Arles across the shimmering blue water of the Rhône. In the forefront, two lovers stroll along the banks of the river. The paint captured the very essence of true romance.

I absolutely love it. It is amazing, and warm, and soft, softer I would have ever expected, it does not look cheap at all, it is just the best blanket ever, I love wrapping my self in it.
