Stained Glass Angels I--Card ("Greetings!" Inside) Card
I took this photograph of a stained glass window in Our Lady of Victory Basilica in Lackawanna (Buffalo), NY. I was mainly responding to the beauty of the design and jewel-like colours when I shot the picture, but am aware it will have significance for many that goes far beyond that. The word "Greetings!" (in red) appears at the top of the inside of the card, and I got the idea for placing it there since the angels in the window are reading a scroll. This card bears the same image on its front as the one on "Stained Glass Window II", but differs from the other in that this has a message inside. This one also has a back that's different from that of the second. I have used this photo to create a mug and a postage stamp for my gallery as well.
