St. Tikhon of Zadonsk Orthodox Christian Icon Jigsaw Puzzle

St. Tikhon of Zadonsk was an 18th century Russian bishop in the Orthodox Christian church. He grew up in extreme poverty and worked in the fields for long hours. He entered a seminary under a state grant at 16. He was a gifted orator and writer and sought to revitalize the spiritual life both in the community and monasteries. He suffered from ill health his entire life, but despite this, he lived a strict ascetic life and worked hard physical labour. His reputation for piety, humility, kindness and wisdom drew many people to the monastery in search of his blessing and advice. His life and works inspired the famous Russian writer, Dostoevsky, who reflected them in the characters.
