St. Nikolas, archbishop Mirlikian, Miracle-maker Coffee Mug

St. Nikolas, archbishop Mirlikian, Miracle-maker Sacred Nikolay Mirlikian, under the legend, lived at the end of III - the beginning of IV c. AD in a southwest of Asia Minor in city the Mira, taking place in the Roman province of Lycia. He was the only son of rich and pious parents. Since children's years, all his life was marked by virtues and chastity. Having accepted a dignity of archbishop of his native city the Mira, Nikolay became the defender and the benefactor to all townspeople. During board of emperors Diokletian and Maksimian Nikolay was sharpened in prison, where suffered of any deprivations. He was exempted, when on a throne stand king Konstantin. At life Nikolay Mirlikian has become famous for protection poor and after death - was canonized. Day of memory - December, 6 (December, 19 on new style)
