Antique NeoGothic image of St. Clare of Assisi and Her Spiritual Daughters from a late 19th century chromolithographic devotional print drawn by Baron Jean-Baptiste Bethune (1821-1894) and published by the Socièté de St. Augustin, Bruges, Belgium, in the designer’s private collection of religious ephemera. + The nuns beneath St. Clare's mantle are identified in a scroll not visible here at the bottom of the image. Reading from left to right, they are St. Hyacintha of Mariscotti, St. Agnes of Assisi, St. Colette of Corbie, St. Catherine of Bologna, St. Eustochia Calafato, and Bl. Although the product is what I expected (it's a notebook), the packaging for delivery was done poorly, and the notebook arrived bent, enough so that I am not comfortable giving it as the gift it was intended to be. The quality of the picture and design is lovely, but again, because it arrived bent, it is rather skewed.

This journal came in within a week of ordering it and I was thrilled! I love roses so I love having this journal. The size is perfect. Small enough to throw in a bag. The printing is clear. The pages are nice and thick. The binding is sturdy. The printing is a little darker than the photo on screen but that is expected with printing. It looks luxurious to me. I love deep red roses.
