Kühlen, Mönchengladbach, Germany, from the designer’s private collection of religious ephemera.   +   Feast:  December 4   +   This St. Barbara roundel has a rich colour palette.  Suggested colours (with their hex codes) for backgrounds and texts include:  gold (#8C762F), light aqua (#C3D9C6), medium aqua (#7A988E), dark aqua (#537781), light yellow orange (#DDA943), dull medium orange (#D57F11), chartreuse green (#B5A72D), dull blue grey (#7F9189), rust red (#B32A02), and yellowish beige off white (#DCD3AA). Here, in addition, basic brown (#613B1B) is used for the text.
