Photo I took of the church and the wall from the harbour. In English, Acco is generally spelled Acre. Acco was a fortress town used by the Crusaders. The Old City is now an Arab town while the newer parts of the city are populated with Jews and Arabs together. The Old City has fish restaurants and typical Middle Eastern restaurants. It is a lovely place to walk around when you are visiting Israel.
