St. Agnes of Rome, faithful to her religion, spurned the romantic advances of the son of a local pagan official and remained steadfast in her Christianity to the point of death. She is patroness of purity, gardeners, engaged couples, crops, the Girl Scouts, and Children of Mary. She is shown in art with a lamb, a Latin pun (agnus) on her name. The shipping was the problem. Box was flimsy and item got bent.. only suggestion would have been to put in a canister or mark fragile. Printing was exactly as shown
