SS Oceanic Independence Poster
This shows one of the last incarnations of the American Liner Independence. Once a transatlantic liner, she ended her career as a cruise ship for Hawaii. She is lost to us now. She was scrapped under highly questionable legal circumstances. Indy had a running mate: SS Constitution. She is lost to us as well. While being towed across the Pacific Ocean to the scrappers, the tow liner mysteriously parted and she sank. This image is derived from an original slide owned by me.

The shipping was the problem. Box was flimsy and item got bent.. only suggestion would have been to put in a canister or mark fragile. Printing was exactly as shown
