This is an altered version of an old advertisment for these two fine liners of the American Export Lines. SS Constitution sank years ago while being towed to the shipbreakers. SS Indedendence was slipped by stealth from American control. She is on her way to the breakers. That leaves only one US-flagged ocean liner left in existent: The SS United States.
