I Married a Squirrel from Outer Space: I've been working on creating humorous vintage horror movie posters for a while, but with squirrels as the unexpected villains or monsters. Why squirrels? I wanted a critter that would be the last thing anyone would expect to be a threat. After some pondering, I landed on squirrels - because let’s be honest, cute little kittens as villains would just be too obvious! When her husband came home, something else wore his face. Inspired by atomic-age invasion films, this retro sci-fi poster blends domestic paranoia with extraterrestrial terror. Dramatic typography and mid-century styling honour the drive-in era - with a mischievous squirrel twist. Perfect for lovers of alien invasion stories with a delightfully nutty twist. This is the tote to go for if you want something sturdy that will last a long time and keep it's shape. Was a gift for a friend who lost a pet and she almost cried. I was worried it might come out a little tacky, but I will probably order this again and would definitely recommend it. The print also went on so well to the canvas-y material.
