A white buffalo, or bison, is considered sacred by several North American native tribes, including the Lakota and Oglala. The front of this card depicts an image from an orignal oil painting by award winning Colorado artist Debra Mickelson, and shows a white buffalo resting peacefully with a white and black magpie on it's back. The inside has a quote by Oglala Holy man Black Elk, which says, "Know the Power that is Peace."
