I think I captured these dainty little guys on a trip to Kentucky some time ago. BUT, I also think given the order of my pictures from that trip, that the photo was taken at a rest area somewhere in Indiana. Guess I didn’t realize how lucky I was until later. I learned that Spiderwort flowers open only in the morning, then the petals wilt and turn into a jelly-like fluid. The close by mid-day and last only one day! I loved their shade of blue…
