Sphinx, Art Deco Mythical Mouse Pad

Sphinx, Art Deco Mythical Mouse Pad On a limestone plateau high above the clouds, a winged sphinx lies at the edge of her frame and gazes toward the sun. Stepped cliffs of pale stone rise behind her, and the blazing sun pours gold across the sky. The desert holds its breath. Striped gold-and-teal headdress framing her face, emerald and ruby jewels at her collar, great feathered wings folded high, she waits with serene patience, as though anyone who reaches this desk must first answer her riddle. That sense of mystery and ceremony shapes the entire design. The sculpted sphinx turns in profile against a radiant Art Deco sunburst, a woman's face above a golden lion's body, teal-tipped gold wings, a jewelled broad collar, and gilded paws on the frame. The stepped gold frame, corner star medallions, ruby gems, and gold fans at top and base turn the scene into a royal crest rather than a flat illustration — a monument from a lavish fantasy age, set right under your hand. Black and green marble borders contrast with polished gold, deep teal, and the sun-bleached cream of the limestone cliffs. Stepped geometric lines and symmetrical corner ornament complete the luxurious Art Deco presentation on a classic mouse pad for Myth And Monsters collectors, fantasy fans, and anyone who loves a good riddle. • Winged sphinx as guardian of the limestone plateau • Radiant Art Deco sunburst, striped headdress, jewelled collar • Black and green marble borders, ruby accents, stepped gold frame • Corner star medallions and gold fan ornaments • Part of the Art Deco Mouse Pad Collection
