Sos del Rey Catolico (Aragonese: Sos d'o Rei Catolico), Aragon, Spain Sos del Rey Catolico is a fortified medieval town in Aragon, Spain. It was founded at the end of the 10th century by Sancho I of Pamplona. Sos was a walled border town during the Reconquista. King Ferdinand II was born here. Palaces, building and streets of the old town are said to look much like they did at the time of Ferdinand's birth.
