Sorrel (Hibiscus Sabdariffa) is a small fruit which bears at Christmas time and is used for the traditional Christmas Punch that is so popular in some Caribbean countries. In this wreath, it decorates the leaves of the Euphorbia Leucocephala tree which is known in the Caribbean as a "White Poinsettia" or Snow on the Mountains". Like other poinsettias, its colour also changes at Christmas time from green to a snowy white.
