Sniffing Kermode (Spirit) Bear Wildlife Scene Poster

A very pretty Ghost Bear tests the air for "human" as she meanders through her Summer hunting ground. After a trip into the British Columbia wilderness, I’m so excited to be able to bring you some photos of this gorgeous female Spirit Bear also known as the Kermode or Ghost Bear. This rare sub-species is only found in a very small area of British Columbia, Canada on the north-west coast and slightly inland and north to the Alaska Panhandle, nowhere else in the world. It isn’t an albino condition, but a leucystic gene inherent in a select few Black Bears and is an amazing thing to see in the wild or anywhere else for that matter.
