We visited Smoky Mountains National Park during a warm April week when the leaves were just starting to show in the trees and spring wildflowers were beginning to bloom. Here is a spring view of the famous Great Smoky Mountains from the Campbell Overlook when green was appearing on the lower trees but the higher elevations were still bare. This photo is also featured as the widescreen wallpaper "Smoky Mountains in Spring" from the National Parks section of MLeWallpapers.com.
