Sloth - round clock

The pygmy three-toed sloth from Isla Escudo de Veraguas, off the coast of Panama. This pygmy sloth is found only in a small area of red mangrove forest on this tiny island that is a protected wildlife refuge. Recognised in 2001 as a distinct species from the larger mainland sloths. The island is uninhabited but the growing tourism industry is threating the species, also the sloth is illegally hunted by local people.
