The first full day of snow in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, saw many fluffed up songbirds in the backyard perched on the fruit trees for most of the day, including at least two Cassiar Dark-Eyed Juncos (an intergrade of Slate-Coloured and Oregon varieties), like this chubby little number here. It was extremely difficult to predict what this was going to look like. I couldn't tell if it would be a thin film of plastic sheet over the custom message. In fact, it is a resin coating and it is gorgeous. The font I chose is a bit too small but it is wonderful and I love it. The printing is smaller than I would have liked, but I will keep it.
