The magnet is very bright and distinct so, in low light, it is easily seen from a distance. It's handy and has helped alleviate some of the confusion when the dishwasher has just been run. The colors are bright, the print very clear. If I could add one feature I might make it with glow in the dark colors so it is easily visible without turning lights on.
