Skogafoss waterfall - Skogar village, Iceland Tile

This ceramic tile features Skógafoss waterfall dropping in a broad white curtain over a green cliff, with visitors approaching across the dark riverbed. Skógafoss is one of south Iceland's landmark waterfalls, where the Skógá River drops about 60 metres over the former sea cliffs near Skógar. The broad fall creates heavy spray and often rainbows in sunlight, while a stairway beside the cliff gives access to views from above.
