Originally found on the cover of a 1937 Philadelphia Public Record’s Sunday magazine. (Back in the day, most big city newspapers would have a ‘magazine’ added to the Sunday paper. I think the New York Times may be the last paper that does this). Anyhoo, a marvellous image of Sitting Bull, and something that looks great - as great as Sitting Bull - on all kinds of EVERYTHING, including notebooks! Although the product is what I expected (it's a notebook), the packaging for delivery was done poorly, and the notebook arrived bent, enough so that I am not comfortable giving it as the gift it was intended to be. The quality of the picture and design is lovely, but again, because it arrived bent, it is rather skewed.

This journal came in within a week of ordering it and I was thrilled! I love roses so I love having this journal. The size is perfect. Small enough to throw in a bag. The printing is clear. The pages are nice and thick. The binding is sturdy. The printing is a little darker than the photo on screen but that is expected with printing. It looks luxurious to me. I love deep red roses.
