This image is taken from my original nature leaf print of a single oak leaf printed in brown ink on buff paper. This old oak leaf was surprisingly tough. I printed it in brown, black, lavender and several other colours. I took over 25 impressions of this leaf and it barely broke down in the process. It left me wondering what a tough insect it must have been that had eaten parts of it.
