We've chosen a chic tone sometimes called California Gold(colour A98F64) as the default setting for your first names text on the front. When you edit the postcard to show your own names, you can change the names format to also include your last name, or to a 'Mr. and Mrs........' format, etc. We've put some sample text on the back for you to replace with your message. But please don't feel restricted by this. If you prefer to make the back blank so that you can write a handwritten note on each card instead, you can do that. Just please be sure in any case to delete our sample text! We have not picked a default colour for the background on either side. Instead, the default is set as transparent to let the colour of the paper simply serve as the base tone. You can change this by picking a colour in the editing tools if you'd like for one or both sides. We've chosen matte rather than semi-gloss as the default paper choice, as it is well suited to writing your own message on and won't smudge. But you can change this according to your style.
