This whimsical drawing of a frog and hen on spring jumping is from an illustrated book by Leonard Leslie Brooke. Brooke (1862-1946) was a British artist and writer who illustrated numerous children's books, often with silly and humourous drawings.

Quality of the stamp is very nice - the smooth wood feels good in the hand. For a small stamp it does have a very crisp image in any color ink. I am using it in gold or silver as a background to my jewelry tags. I also use it on stationary to give it a little glitz. Now I want the 2 inch one.
