On a cloudy spring day, the sun suddenly emerged from the clouds turning the sky and lake an amazing pinkish purple. This couple was silhouetted on the pier against the lake, framed by a tree with dramatic branches. The lovely shades provided an amazing show of purples, salmon, pink, blue, and gold, with Seattle framed in the background. You could occasionally see glimpses of the Olympic Mountains in the background.
