This acrylic painting was inspired by some sheep encountered and the views from the cliff tops between the Devon United Kingdom villages of Branscombe and Beer. It depicts 3 sheep bathed in sunlight and casting long shadows across a yellow / green pasture. Behind them we can see the red cliffs and golden sands of Seaton and a few buildings that are scattered along this section of coast. The gorgeous blue sea associated with this part of the south west of England can also be seen and beyond this are rolling hills covered in trees and lined by hedges.The field and hedgerows fade off into the distance in the upper left hand corner of the painting towards a misty hazy horizon
